SEOktoberfest G50 Summit

Code of Conduct

At SEOktoberfest, we strongly believe our community provides extraordinary professional development and nurtures long-lasting, life-defining relationships. We value the true mutual respect between everyone involved that has developed organically over the years as SEOktoberfest has grown.

First and foremost we value ideas, thoughts, and expression, and we appreciate a new pedagogy when delivering workshops and sessions. Learning happens everywhere at the SEOktoberfest G50 Summit and we encourage an open and free exchange of ideas. That being said, discriminatory language or harassment is not appropriate for any event venue associated with SEOktoberfest.

We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Harassment is understood as any behavior that threatens another person or group or produces an unsafe environment. It includes offensive verbal comments or non-verbal expressions related to gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religious beliefs, sexual or discriminatory images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing or sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

We are dedicated to providing a positive event experience for all participants and expect all attendees, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff to show respect and courtesy towards each other at all conference and conference-related events. If at any time, a presenter, guest, delegate or visitor feels that they have been harassed or that this code of conduct has been breached, it is important that the incident is reported to a conference host. Anyone in violation of the SEOktoberfest G50 Summit Code of Conduct will be ejected immediately from the event.
